- the Halloween that is celebrated nowadays today, began but of 3.000 years ago in Ireland as a festival of harvest of celtas. For celtas, the change of stations acquired a magical importance.
- Samhain was the most important festival, since it was the last day of the harvest and the beginning of the winter. Concretely this festival was celebrated at the end of October and at the beginning of November
- At night of the 31 of October souls of deads they returned to visit terrenales homes. Celtas thought that in that night the window that separated the world of the alive ones and the one of deads disappeared.
- In order to maintain to these spirits contentments and to move away to the bad spirits of its homes celtas they let to food or candies outside its homes. This tradition has stayed in the time and it has become which today we called trick or treta (treatment or trick), where the children go of house in house requesting sweet.
